Chattisgarh public services commission (CGPSC)  conducts the PSC (public services commission) for the recruitment to the various posts to public services commission. This is a well known examination in Chattisgarh state. Every year CGPSC conducts the PSC examination and a number of candidates appear in this examination. The PSC examination paper is conducted in three phases. The first phase is a preliminary test and the second is main examination and the third phase is a personal interview. The candidate who clears the 1st phase is eligible for the second phase. Candidates who clears the 1st and 2nd phases are eligible for the  personal interview. The 1st phase consists objective type question based on Indian politics, Indian and world geography, Indian history and current events, economics and social development etc. Total marks for first paper is 200 marks for each paper. The second phase consists nine papers and total marks is 2300 marks including the personal interview. There is negative marking in this examination and time duration for each paper is two hours. The CGPSC provides all the information on the official website. Selection is based on the performance in all of the phases of examination conducted by CGPSC for the recruitment.

CGPSC (Chattisgarh public services commission) is going to conduct a preliminary exam on 9th June 2013 (Thursday) for public services commission recruitment. After conducting the preliminary examination CGPSC conducts the main examination and then conducts the personal interview. CGPSC publishes the answer key on the official website within 24 hours of examination for both preliminary and main examinations. CGPSC examination also provides the scorecard to the candidates who appears in the examination. Students will be able to bale to download the PDF format of the answer key from the official website.
